Steel Detailing Services
Vertex Steel Detailing details structural and miscellaneous steel in SDS/2 for US fabricators and construction businesses. Every service produces fabrication data from one model: shop drawings, erection drawings, NC files, bolt lists, material takeoffs and submittal packages, prepared in accordance with AISC 303 and AISC 360 at $15–20 per hour.

- Connection DetailingConnections detailed to the Engineer of Record's design: bolt patterns, welds, plates and holes shown for fabrication. No stamped connection design.
- Thermal Break DetailingStructural thermal break connections detailed for fabrication: bolt stack-up through the pad, bushings, washers, hole sizes and shop sequencing.
Which deliverables come with each service?
Each service runs through the same SDS/2 model, so the deliverables below come from one source and stay consistent with each other. The scope of any package is confirmed at intake against your contract documents and the deliverables you ask for.

Every package is modeled in SDS/2, prepared to AISC standards, checked by a second person before release, and billed hourly within the published $15–20 range. The team works from Karnataka, India, and the time difference means markups sent at the end of the US day are worked during the US night.
