Steel Detailing Projects

Only one project is published because shop drawings are the fabricator's deliverable, not the detailer's portfolio. Vertex publishes a project only when its details are confirmed for release, and names a client, a project or a location only with the client's written permission. The published case study is anonymised for exactly that reason.

The other four completed projects are listed here as a count, not as invented summaries. They will be added with the same structure as the case study once their details are cleared.

Each project entry states the project type, the scope of steel detailed, the deliverables produced and the turnaround, with dates where they are part of the record. Entries use technical facts from the drawings, such as member sizes, bolt specifications and revision dates, rather than adjectives, so a fabricator can judge the work.

Client drawing images are not published. If drawing extracts are ever shown, with permission, title blocks, company logos, job numbers and detailer initials are removed first, and only geometry, member call-outs, weld symbols, dimensions and bill of material structure remain.

Beyond the case study, you can judge the work through the documented checking process, client feedback, and a first package reviewed on your own terms.
